Data management

Manage Data screen provides tools for data management as synchronization, import export, backup and restore. 

Backup/Restore
  • Backup Database - users can select a folder on the SD card or in the main memory,  predefined locations on Dropbox or Google Drive to make a backup of the database.
  • Restore Database - users can restore the database from a backup file made with "Backup Database". This is usefull if you want to import your data on another device
  • Clear Old Data - Clears all the data from the database before specified date.
  • Clear All Data - Clears all the data from the database.
  • Backup Settings - backup your personal settings
  • Restore Settings - restore settings backed up with "Backup Settings". This is usefull if you want to import your settings on another device
Import/Export
  • Export Data (CSV) - exports the data in tab separated format.
  • Import Data (CSV) - imports the data from a file exported using "Export Data (CSV)".
  • Export Data (XLS) - exports the data in XLS format.
  • Import Data (XLS) - imports the data from a file exported using "Export Data (XLS)".
Import/Export Food
  • Export Food (CSV) - exports the food added by the user in tab separated format.
  • Import Food (CSV) - imports the food data from a file exported using "Export Food (CSV)".
  • Export Food (XLS) - exports the food added by the user in XLS format.
  • Import Food (XLS) - imports the food data from a file exported using "Export Food (XLS)".
  • Clear Food - Clears all the food added by user only.
Import/Export data
Diabetes:M provides a lot of options to import data from other diabetes management software, insulin pumps software, glucometers software.
  • Import Data .CSV (CareLink®) - imports the data from the Medtronic CareLink application CSV export file.
  • Import Data (FreeStyle) - imports data from Abbot Freestyle Libre, Abbot Freestyle Optium Neo, AbbotInsulinx 
  • Import Data .CSV (Glucofacts) - Import data from Glucofacts Deluxe software
  • Import Data .CSV (t:connet) - Import data from t:connect software
  • Import Data . CSV (OneTouch®) - Import data from OneTouch software
  • Import Data .CSV (TRUEmanager) - Import data from TRUEmanager software
  • Import Data (Dexcom Studio) - Import data from Dexcom Studio software
  • Import Data (Accu-Check) - Import data from Accu-Check 360°, Accu-Check SmartPix, Accu-Check Mobile2CSV software
  • Import Data .CSV (Gluco Diary) - Import data from Gluco Diary software
  • Import Data .CSV (Activmed) - Import data from Activmed software
  • Import Data .CSV (CareSens) - Import data from CareSens software
  • Import Data .CSV (OnTrack) Import data from OnTrack application
If some import feature is not working please contact us, as we don't have all needed devices and software to keep things up to date. Also if your device is not in the list, contact us and provide a sample exported file so we can add an import feature.




Diabetes:M provides export and import to and from tab delimited CSV file. The format of the file is:

Where \t is the tabulator symbol, \n is the carriage return symbol.

DateTime format is dd.MM.yyyy HH:mm:ss (day.month.year 24hour:minutes:seconds)

Glucose is in mmol/L

Weight is in kilograms

The BolusInsulin must be exactly one of these strings (the symbol ® may be omitted):

The fastest way to see the export/import format is to enter few entries in Diabetes:M, do Export Data (CSV) and 
see the file.

A working template is attached to that page so it can be downloaded and can be used to produce your own 
import file. To see the file in the text format described above, open it with NotePad or other text editing program.
